IT and business professionals executing the role of business analyst, those new in the business analyst role or those wanting to solidify their understanding and appreciation of how they can deliver value through their business analysis services. The participants will gain insight and understanding of the methods, processes and steps required to help their clients get the results they need from their business system performance investments.

This course supports those seeking to earn development units for professional certification by the International Institute of Business Analysis® (IIBA®). Analyst in Action covers all sections of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®) Version 2.0 published by the IIBA®.  

Overview:
This three day course provides the participant with a solid foundation of the methods, skills, and knowledge of the business analysis process and the tools and techniques used to successfully analyze system performance and translate business requirements to a solution that delivers the business results being sought.

Participants will solidify their understanding of the business analyst role and the entire business analysis process, from defining the business need, analyzing and defining requirements, modeling the solution concept through to successful implementation of the business solution.

Participants gain practice using some of many techniques and tools that are available to the business analyst to gather information and business requirements more completely the ‘first time’.
